1. The climbing and bouldering wall is an artificial environment, but the risks associated with climbing are as serious as when climbing a mountain or on rocks. All safety devices are designed to ensure comfortable climbing, but they do not make the use of the climbing wall risk-free. Climbing without appropriate knowledge and the skills, beyond one’s ability, May led to a fall, and consequently to injury and in extreme cases to the death. You must always make your assessment of risk and choose the level of commitment when climbing.
2. The adventure world of business has the right to refuse entry to a person who grossly violates those t&C and safety rules. Only persons registered in the awb system May use the climbing wall.
3. Any person who wants to use the climbing wall independently for the first time must sign up at the reception, obtain a membership card and complete the induction process on how to use auto-bealys with the instructor before starting climbing or bouldering. This procedure is mandatory for everyone.
4. All children need to be under the control of an instructor or experience in climbing adults who climb with them. Is prohibited to allow children to climb and operate any climbing equipment without register adult or our instructor. (This includes clipping to auto-belays). Is mandatory that people under 18 years old be supervised all the time by registered adults or instructors.
5. After registration you May use our climbing gym according to your competency level (Bouldering, auto-bealy, top rope or lead climbing). You are taking full responsibility for your safety and the safety of those under your supervision.
6. The construction of the climbing wall, climbing holds, and climbing equipment have appropriate certificates and are organized according to the standards adopted on climbing walls to ensure the safety of climbing and comfort but what makes them safe is knowledge and skills on how to use them.
7. Aid or solo climbing is prohibited on climbing walls. Teaching others advanced technical skills in climbing, abseiling or caving is only allowed by qualified instructors after obtaining awb written permission.
8. Security in boulder is provided only by bouldering mats and your skills. After completing the climb, it is recommended to climb down through the available holds. Jumping can result in injury and we can not accept any responsibility if you injure yourself.
9. Belaying should be done safely and effectively according to climbing rules. A safety knot should be tied on the belay rope behind the device. Belaying in a sitting or lying position is not allowed.
10. Belaying should be done with consideration and without dangerous slack on the rope. The belayer assumes full responsibility for the safety of the climbing person.
11. It is prohibited to distract the attention of people who climb and belay. It is prohibited to stay directly under the climbing wall unless the person is climbing or belaying.
12. Climbing at the limit of your possibilities May led to falling and consequently injury or accident. You must all time assess risk and self-assess your skills.
13. Any climbing equipment acceptable for use on awb climbing wall has to comply with uiaa standards, must not be older than 5 years old, be excessively worn or damaged and must be compatible with our climbing wall equipment. A minimum of 30 meters of single rope less than 10.1 MM thick must be used for lead climbing. The final decision on acceptance of the equipment is made by the instructor.
14. Any problems with the climbing wall or equipment must be reported immediately to the instructor. There is a risk of the hold to spin or loosening. It is prohibited to independently unsolven or tighten climbing holds.
15. You are required to climb in sports suit and shoes or climbing shoes. It is prohibited to climb without shoes or in sandals or flip-flops. It is prohibited to climb with jewelry or any items in your pockets that May threaten the safety of the people climbing and being below, especially mobile phones.
16. It is prohibited to grab construction structures, installations, equipment and devices when climbing. It is prohibited to grap quickdraws and any belay points, swing on ropes, ascending on ropes and other use of equipment and devices incompatible with their proper purpose. You must report any problems with the behavior or safety of others to the instructor immediately.
17. You should follow the instructor’s comments, and commands. Any persons whose behavior is contrary to our t&CS and does not comply with them, Will be removed from the facility without refund of costs incurred.
